I am the Practice Manager for Dr. Emily Rekuc , owner of Caring for Women in La Quinta, Ca. I had the great pleasure of overseeing our build out and the entire team at Varisco Design Build Group was amazing! We had minimal knowledge about how to best use our space for an OB/GYN office.

He designed my office to be very functional keeping with a good workflow. He took care of all the city permits and dealt with bidding various subcontractors. I have received numerous compliments from patients regarding the quality of the work, choice of interior colors, and finishes. Last month Anderson Design Group celebrated the grand opening of their expanded Studio Store, a one-stop shop for all of their print and gift collections that also features an appealing array of local artisan products. The subcontractors they used were professional, clean, and did exceptional work. We would highly recommend Varisco Design and Build Group for any project. Meant to conjure nostalgia and a sense of pride for one’s home state (or the state one enjoys visiting the most), the American State Pride poster art collection features original art of each U.S. state and depicts the states in all their glory. Robert made the entire process of remodeling my 3,000 square-foot medical office much easier. Our original travel art is not only affordable but accessible to everyone. We love what we do as visual communicators—and it shows when we illustrate, hand-letter, or design in our favorite 20th-Century travel poster styles. We custom-print each of our posters in-house using the highest-quality inks and papers.

And we hope you enjoy our original creations as much as we have enjoyed producing them! Thanks for supporting the arts and small family-run American businesses like ours. There's something about that romantic, hand-illustrated style that strikes a chord in us, pushing us to explore and practice our craft as graphic artists. With over 3,000 designs and counting, we are continuing the grand tradition of the Golden Age of Poster Art for a whole new generation. Since 1993, our family owned business has been producing high-quality illustrated prints, books, and wall decor.
In 2007, the partners decided to pursue different interests, so Joel reorganized the design firm as Anderson Design Group, Inc., narrowing the studio's focus to specialize in illustration and poster design. When Joel and the art team are not doing illustration work for clients, they create new poster art. Averaging 4-10 new designs per week, Team ADG has produced over 3,000 designs, including poster art for each of the National Parks. Anderson Design Group, Inc. is an award-winning graphic design firm based in Nashville. Founder Joel Anderson and a group of talented artists and illustrators have been designing logos, book covers, products, posters and more for local and national clients. Back in 2010, the poster art team at Anderson Design Group began creating travel posters of favorite American cities illustrated in the style of The Golden Age of Poster Art, which hails from the early to mid-20th Century.
We knew the basics like exam rooms, reception area, waiting room etc., but Robert Varisco really made our new space come to life! He designed a functional office with a wonderful workflow, maximizing every square inch of the space. They worked within our budget, took care of all the detail work to save us time, and completed the project well within the promised "finished" date.
Through the years, we have studied the Masters of the Golden Age of Poster Art. Inspired by graphic design and travel art illustration from the late 1800s to the mid-1900s, we enjoy doing as much as possible by hand. We strive to create travel wall decor that looks like it was produced in the early part of the 20th century. Once we have finished a design, we produce posters on gallery-grade paper in our very own print shop. Our family owned business is dedicated to creating the highest quality and most affordable travel decor possible. We hope you can see and feel the quality that goes into our American-made prints, books, and gifts.
Our client list includes companies such as Universal Studios, Coors, Chrysler, Capitol One, MCA Records, Williams-Sonoma, Igloo Coolers, and Uinta Brewing. Born and raised in Kansas City, Derek (not related to ADG founder Joel Anderson) eventually made his way to Nashville where he studied graphic design and illustration at Watkins College of Art. During his senior year, Derek was an all-star intern with us, producing several posters that have been published in our various collections. His stellar work earned him a full-time staff position once he graduated in the spring of 2017. Derek enjoys creating ideas from a narrator’s point of view, deciding what perspective tells the story most effectively.
Finding illustration and graphic design the perfect fit for his odd skill set, he attended Watkins College of Art, Design, and Film. In his spare time Aaron enjoys eating strawberry flavored foods, building replicas of TV show & movie props, watching Japanese Anime, and teaching people Photoshop. After becoming an illustrator his new life goal is to one day ride a zeppelin. In 2012 Aaron went for his dream job as an Illustrator at ADG, since the world was scheduled to end that year and he wanted to go out with a bang. Now he excels in illustration, hand lettering, logo and package design, and fixing our computers when they're on the fritz. Aaron has done work for clients such as MCA Records, Ram Trucks, Coors Light, Miller Light, Syracuse University, J.M.T. Spices, Andrew Jackson's Hermitage, Ellusionist Playing Cards, and many more.
